Even in junior high, Dr. Alton knew the importance of a doctor's care. In eighth grade, he wrote about maintaining integrity to gain a patient's trust. Those words—although written years ago—still hold true for Dr. Alton today.

Dr. Alton believes in improving the health of our community, one neighbor, family and friend at a time. Treating patients at a tight-knit community hospital and providing care for women from adolescence through menopause means Dr. Alton meets generations of women. When new moms come to his office, Dr. Alton's parental instincts kick in. His medical training has prepared him for the visit. But, it's his experience as a parent that gives him greater insight into caring for a mother and her baby. His compassionate approach leads to a reputation for excellent quality care that's personalized and builds trust with his patients.
